4 Useful Tips to Know if Your Business Idea is Any Goodby David Ferguson
If I had a dollar for every business idea that I thought was “better than sliced bread” I would be a pretty rich guy. Heck, my bank account would look much better if I hadn’t tried to implement many of those ideas over the past 14 years.
One thing that experience (let’s define that as lots of failures) has taught me is to have a better lens to analyze ideas and to more realistically determine if they really make business sense or not.
I like to reference Ephesians 5:15-17 as a cautionary verse about being wise in how you live your life, spend your time, and maximize your opportunities. The scripture in full context is talking more about personal behaviors to avoid but in the Jesus Led Business context I think it perfectly sums up whether to know if you business idea is any good with verse 17: “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
